Life
A Greek hymn of the Coptic rite whose wording has raised questions about its doctrinal meaning [1]. An answer on the SUSCOPTS site explains that "He who resembled our humility" refers to the Son, not the Father, and that the humility is the Son's self-emptying in the Incarnation (Philippians 2:5–8) [1]. No source was found for when it is sung or its date, and the Arabic text quoted on the site was not matched against a service book.
